2015 Ford Focus

Ford Focus

With its European-developed chassis, the Focus is a practical, playful companion offering a rare blend of agility and accuracy. A 160-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder is standard but a 123-hp 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder with auto start-stop is optional for extra efficiency. A six-speed dual-clutch automatic is available but we prefer the five-speed manual. A handsome exterior and functional interior with a load of standard and available features win the Focus extra style points.

McLaren F1

McLaren F1
Power, pace and peerless quality, the legendary McLaren F1 is a technological masterpiece. The fastest production car of its time. The finest sports car of its generation. For many, the greatest supercar ever built.

It’s no coincidence that the F1 was conceived during our all-conquering 1988 Formula 1™ season. Built on a carbon fibre chassis and driven by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, our MP4/4 race car won 15 out of 16 races. It dominated Formula 1™ and set new standards on the track. Designed and built without compromise, the McLaren F1 would do the same on the road.

2015 Ford Mustang GT

2015 Ford Mustang GT

The iconic Mustang—with its classic pony-car looks and hunkered-down stance—preserves a legacy that defines American motoring. A 300-hp 3.7-liter V-6, a 310-hp 2.3-liter turbo four-cylinder, and a 435-hp 5.0-liter V-8 are all offered with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. An independent rear suspension improves its ride and provides better cornering. In either coupe or convertible form, the Mustang appeals without compromising its heritage.

Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador

Long, low, and generally massive, the Aventador is the flagship coupe (or roadster) in the Lamborghini stable. Only one powertrain exists: a 6.5-liter, 691-hp V-12 mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The Aventador is brutally powerful and obscenely flamboyant, but it’s also surprisingly agile for its size, making it one of the most drivable Lamborghinis ever produced. However, simply because it’s drivable doesn’t make it easy to drive—and therein lies its appeal

The Aventador is Lamborghini’s latest tarmac-grade V12 weapons system that replaces the 10-year-old Murcielago. It’s also the fastest production car that has ever come out of Lamborghini’s factory in the small rural town of Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy.

Lamborghini does things differently to most other supercar manufacturers; it likes to push the envelope, both from a design sense and a technological standpoint. What they have created in the Aventador is the supercar of the future for the here and now. It’s the definition of extreme in the automotive world and wherever you look, inside or outside this car, boundaries have been pushed well beyond the current benchmarks. Lamborghini calls it ‘the new reference among super sports cars’.

Bugatti Veyron

Bugatti Veyron

Perhaps the greatest supercar ever, the Veyron 16.4 was for those with all the money in the world and a desire to go blisteringly fast; we say “was,” because the Veyron is no longer sold and its replacement, the Chiron, is not yet available. With an 8.0-liter turbo-quad W-16 engine and all-wheel drive; the Veyron makes 1001 hp and has a 200-mph-plus top speed.

Since it’s introduction in 2005, the The Bugatti Veyron has been the most sought after, powerful, and fastest supercar in the world.

The Bugatti hits 0-62 mph in less than 3 seconds at 2.4 seconds. The progression in hitting given metrics for the Veyron SS include 150mph at 10 second, 186 mph at under 15 seconds, and in less than a minute, you could be going as fast as 245 mph.

The first five cars that came off the line in 2010 were sold as a limited “World Record Editions” after clocking a staggering record of 267.9 miles per hour at Volkswagons test tracks in Germany. Priced at 2.4 million dollars (2.08 million Euros at time of purchased) each, the first five immediately sold out.

Audi R8

Audi R8

Audi’s luscious R8 supercar is beautiful to behold, easy to live with, and simply marvelous to drive. A midcycle update keeps styling fresh, while a lightweight, 550-hp “V-10 Plus” coupe model joins the lineup for 2014. Both coupe and roadster models remain available with carry-over 430-hp V-8 or 525-hp V-10 engines paired to either a gated six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Regardless of how it comes, the R8 is pure lust.
